Extended Day Care (EDC) Services
2024/25 EDC Registration is open at this time!
Online registration for the Extended Day Care Program (EDC) is open at this time, on a first-come, first-served basis, to all Edgewater Park resident students attending Magowan School (3-year-old Pre K through grade 4) and Ridgway School (grade 5-8.) The nonrefundable registration fee for the 2024/-25 school year is $50.00 per family and must be submitted at time of registration in order to reserve a spot for your child in the program.
EDC is managed by the Lumberton Township School District, in partnership with EPTSD; The EDC Program provides safe, affordable and convenient before/after school child care. EDC is held at the Magowan School; Ridgway students will be bused to/from EDC daily. All students must be fully toilet trained to enroll in and attend EDC. While at EDC, children are offered fun and relaxed atmosphere with opportunities for many different activities, including games, crafts, athletics and homework. All activities are conducted and monitored by a professional and caring staff. All students must be fully toilet trained to attend EDC; 3-year-old students are not eligible for PM EDC on half-days, due to the length of day.
EDC is funded through parental tuition. Tuition payments are made one full week in advance on Tuesdays. Late registration fees apply when the Tuesday prior deadline is missed ($5 per scheduled day late fee.) Parents are required to register their children each year. EDC does not accept subsidized tuition; however, discounted tuition rates are offered to those families that are eligible for free/reduced school meals, as determined and authorized by the school district each year. Below are the hours and daily rates for the EDC Program. You do not need to attend each
day, as the calendar is flexible for each student. If you have more than one student/child
attending EDC, there is a 20% sibling discount offered.
Morning: 7:00 AM -start of school $9.00/day
Afternoon: dismissal - 6:00 PM $15.00/day
Half-day PM: dismissal - 6:00 PM $30.00/day
To register as a new parent/family for EDC, log on to the EZ Track Website using a computer or mobile device at: www.ezchildtrack.com/lumbertonedc/parent You can also download the mobile app - the app is available for free on the App Store and the Google Play Store.
After you complete the online registration for your family, you will receive an email saying your application has been submitted.
Once you are approved, you will receive an email with a temporary password. Log back into the system and use the “Returning Customer” icon and enter your email and the temporary password and then you will be able to create a custom password. (If you used our program in previous school years, you can go back onto the web site as a “returning customer”, update your information and then register for the school year.)
Please note: fee/online payment must be submitted upon registering your child in order to reserve a spot.
Our online system accepts e-checks or credit card payments; all registrations must be completed online.
The online calendar for scheduling your child for specific dates for childcare will be available early August. An email will be sent to all registered families with more information and details to schedule for the first weeks of school.
