August 8th, 2023
SMART Notebook/Lumio with Teq trainer - 9:00am to 10:00am
In this session participants will learn about the features of SMART Notebook and Lumio. They will learn how to create lessons from scratch or with pre-existing content. They will also learn how SMART Notebook lessons can easily be integrated into the Lumio platform to amplify their content. Additionally participants will learn about the fun game-based activities within Lumio.
Nearpod - 10:00am to 11:00am
In this session participants will learn how navigate their way through the features within Nearpod. They will learn how to create lessons using the different build-in tools in Nearpod. They will also learn how to create fun interactive game-based activities that are fun and easy to play.
Cool Tech Tools with Teq trainer - 11:00am to 12:00pm
In this session we will explore fun ways to gamified students learning experience through games such as Blooket, Kahoot, and Monster Quiz. We will also learn about fun interactive platforms that allow for collaboration and student engagement such as Padlet, Edpuzzle, Flip, Jamboard and book creator. Additionally we will learn about tools for digital accessibility for all types of learners including language learners such as Immersive reader, Microsoft translator, etc.

Organizing Tasks & Time in Google Workspace with Roy Rakszawski - 10:00am to 11:00am
In this session, we will look at ways to save time, stay organized, and be more productive. Google Workspace offers powerful, integrated tools that can create an efficient work flow, conducive to collaboration. I will show you some tips and tricks in Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Tasks, and Keep that will make your life a little easier and maybe even reduce some stress in your life.

GoGuardian Teacher: Beyond the Basics -Utilizing Scenes & Quicklists with Candace Schmid - 11:00am to 12:00pm
In this session, you will learn how to design "Scenes" to give added control over students' web activity during classroom sessions through GoGuardian Teacher. Also, you will learn how to apply Quicklists which can be quickly added or removed from your scene.

Mote with Flo Girman - 11:00am to 12:00pm
In this session, you will learn how to use the Google extension Mote. This tool can be beneficial for both teachers and students. Students can practice arguing/explaining verbal responses. Teachers can use it as a scaffold in instruction. In this session, we will see actual applications where we can use this tool.

Understanding Accessible vs Assistive Tech in Inclusion SS/Science with Sandy Silveri - 11:00am to 12:00pm
Participants will be able to explain the differences between the terms accessible and assistive; learn of the accessible features in TCI, learn of assistive tech to support while responding to prompts/quizzes in TCI; recall the reason why these are important to equitable learning opportunities.
